When Vivian A. and
Marian B. Brown arrived in San Francisco from Los Angeles on New Years
Eve in 1969 they experienced paradise found. They've been making new friends
from around town and around the world ever since. Many years ago the sisters
joined a group of young friends for cheeseburgers at a Zim's restaurant
which was then at Sutter and Powell Streets. The identical duo chewed the
fat and warned the young ones not to take any apartment that didn't include
utilities. Sage advice. Mister SF was among the newbies in attendance and
has been seeing double ever since.
Here we are at the Top of
the Mark in 1999. Marian's coat is open. Can you find another difference
between the sisters in this photo? |
