The original
Miz Brown's location was the final stronghold of what
became a small chain of great spots for unpretentious grub. Opened in
1953, the burger and breakfast joint
in the Laurel Village shopping plaza closed so unexpectedly that the Bay
Guardian wrote, "Miz Brown's remains as popular as ever," in
its 50's History Edition the same week patrons were greeted with
Miz Brown's farewell message. |
