comps to the client by five and no one knows where the production manager
left the boards." So goes typical table talk at Grumpy's. Grumpy's
caters to the community of advertising agencies and TV stations near its
Vallejo Street location. Consider that unsold concepts for major ad campaigns
have been found in Grumpy's garbage. Fortunately for the agency that misplaced
the discards on at least two occasions, they were found by fellow employees
and not the competition.
