| Tank Hill, named for a water tank once perched here, is an excellent viewing spot accessible via Belgrave Avenue in the Ashbury Heights district. With panoramic views and close neighborhood character, Tank Hill makes up in charm what it may lack when compared to more dramatic overlooks such as nearby Twin Peaks. A nice surprise, even for longtime San Franciscans. |
