36. Alioto, Joseph (1916-1998). 8 January 1968. He was born on 12 February 1916 in San Francisco. He was a lawyer, part of the anti-trust division in the Justice Department, president of the San Francisco Board of Education, and president of the Rice Growers Association. He was married twice, first to Angelina Genaro and then to Kathleen Sullivan. He died in San Francisco on 29 January 1998. He is interred at Holy Cross Cemetery, Colma, California. |
