street - in a chase scene in The Fan. Wesley Snipes is a star
San Francisco Giants baseball player stalked by De Niro's obsessed fan
in the 1996 thriller directed by Tony Scott. Ellen Barkin, John Lequizamo,
Benicio Del Toro, and Patti D'Arbanville also star. In his October 27,
1995 column in the San Francisco Chronicle, Herb
Caen wrote, "Every director who comes to town tries to top the chase
in Steve McQueen's Bullitt, but nobody will ever be faster than a speeding
Bullitt."
