In the role of
a party politician, Willie Brown
bribes a judge in the third installment of Francis Ford Coppola's Godfather
saga. The focus this time is on the efforts of Michael Corleone (Al Pacino)
to move the family out of crime and into legitimate businesses. It's the
struggle of a lifetime for the aging Don, who finds himself torn between
the past and the future. He is surrounded by people he can't trust, all
the way up to the Vatican. Least successful entry in the Godfather trilogy
features an ambitious finale and an all star cast including Diane Keaton,
Talia Shire, Andy Garcia, George Hamilton, Joe Montegna, Bridget Fonda,
Sofia Coppola, Don Novello, Helmut Berger, and Al Martino. From a screenplay
